Dance Lessons with SoCoHo
We offer free dance lessons on Thursday evening at the Brazos River Bottom (the BRB) at 2400 Brazos St in Houston. Join us from 8-10:30PM. You don’t need a partner—just a good attitude!
We usually teach a line dance during the first hour and a couples’ dance during the second hour. For the couples’ dances, we begin with the basics on the first Thursday of the month: body positioning, frame, basic technique and basic steps. As the month progresses, we add on to the basic steps and by the end of the month, you have a nice dance pattern to bring to the floor the next time you go out dancing.
